The card I'm posting today is the Valentine's Day Card I made for him. I used the Splitcoast Stampers Sketch Challenge 267 layout and the Crazy 4 Challenges C4C24 challenge of using Red as the main color in your card. Well, I guess I'll get a C+ for that challenge. My card base is red, there's red in my patterned paper and my sentiment is red. It should all count right?
My background paper is from American Crafts. I stamped a Studio G scallop circle stamp which I embossed in red and cut out. I colored the scallop and heart of that stamp with a light blue marker. Next I stamped out and "I" and "U" with foam stamps and a Sizzix die cut heart and embossed them with irredecent powder. I layered them on the scallop, raising the heart with a pop dot. Before putting them on the yellow panel, I stamped random red Hero Arts hearts all around for a little more interest.
Here's an upclose shot of the die cut heart on the scallop cirlce stamp!
Thanks for taking a visit today! Tomorrow we'll show the BEAUTIFUL card Cindy sent us for our anniversary! Be prepared to be WOW-ED !
