Dumpster Thank You!

Weird title for a blog post huh? Well, our GENEROUS friend Ed donated a dumpster and the dump fee for the clean up day we had at CT Humane Society in Westport, CT on Saturday! Boy, did we get a lot done! Between chuckin' out broken things that have been laying around for years, to cleaning up the debris from the bad storm in March, to planting flowers and a veggie garden for the rabbits who are waiting for adoption - the dumpster came in VERY HANDY!

Below is a picture of "most" of the volunteers and one staff member who helped with clean up and planting. Three out of the four dogs pictured have also been adopted (YAH for Shadow, Corona and Lucky!) To show our appreciation, I printed out the picture and made it into a card.

I resized the picture to fit on an A2 card. Since the CT Humane colors are red/white/blue - I wanted to keep with that theme. I used a PTI sentiment, a MS scallop border punch and a few dog bone brads.
On the inside of the card, I punched out a border of paw prints and dog bones and used an Inkadinkado corner stamp.

I think Ed will appreciate the picture of us in and around the dumpster!! And Ed - if you come on to the blog..........THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!
