Stamp Simply #133 - Happy Anniversary

Today's card is an anniversary card I made for Cindy! (my co-crafter!) It's her 10 year wedding anniversary this Thursday (and yes, she already received the card in the mail - so I'm safe to post!!). I used the chipboard letters because I saw the Stamp Simply Challenge #133 on Barbara Ander's blog, to use chipboard on your card, so I wanted to play along since I have a whole set of alphabet letters!

A little story about the background....Cindy was over the other day and I was showing her some techniques I learned to do with the Tim Holtz Distress Inks (from Jennifer McGuire's 2 Peas Thinking Inking class). So, I made the background with her (using a Hero Arts stamp) and once I finished, I knew I would make her anniversary card using it!!

I punched a scallop circle and clear embossed some hearts on it, then laid down the chipboard. I punched out a border and embossed a Hero Arts sentiment with white powder and finished it off with some ribbon and a little bling!

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Hope you have a terrific day!

Maria
