The earth laughs in flowers....

Hello! Just a quick post about a card I made on Tuesday - even though my mojo was off a bit. I have a bunch of Papertrey Ink stamps that haven't seen ink - and I'm trying to change that. Here's a quick one I made with the Green Thumb set.

I stamped the flower pot first in a light brown and didn't like how the coverage was, so I grabbed a darker brown and just inked up the left side. Worked really well to create a shadow!  I embossed the green cardstock with the a Cuttlebug swirl folder and added a ribbon and some bling to the center of the flower.  This was a pretty quick card for me to get done! Yippeee!!!
Thanks for visiting :)
Have a wonderful day!

I love how that flower pot came out. Before I read what you did I thought you stamped it with light brown then used prismacolors to add the darker brown and blended it in - at least that is what it looked like to me! Great card!

I love the 2-tone flower pot! It does look like shading. Great job!
