Today I'm showing you another set of cards I'm sending to Operation Write Home. I used Lucy Abrams' sketch # 2:
Again, I reached for my Papertrey Ink cardstock and paper. I used their star stamps from the Mailbox Greetings set and an Hero Arts stamp for the sentiment. I chose to make this a square card, so I could split up the 8x8 paper evenly while still following the sketch.
Here is the sketch if you want to play along!!
Thanks for your visit!

That is a really smart card...Love the sentiment.
You are so kind, Maria, to donate cards to OWH.
Hugs,
Monica
Very cute - like all the little stars - and of course, you're "doodling"!
(In answer to your question on my last post...um..let's see I used some plain ole cheap white CS (Georg. Pacific) from Walmart - and my Cuddlebug. It really did leave an impression with that folder.)

What a great card! The paper is perfect for OWH. Good luck with the storm, my son is supposed to get 1 to 2 feet, ugh!
This paper is GORGEOUS, Maria. Thanks for the sketch. It's a good one! I love the faux stitching. Really clever idea. I'll have to try that.
Good luck with the 12-24" we're supposedly getting tomorrow... think of me if the governor releases state employees. :)
Very nice and simple. :) The little ribbon makes the card so cute.
Where have I been this week? Sorry I missed so many posts during the week. My DH's grandmother had some health set backs and passed away on Wednesday evening. I guess I have been kind of out of it.
Glad I got to see this one now. Very clean, simply and yet cute. I love the hand drawn stitching to you added.
