Hello! If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know that I volunteer A LOT at the CT Humane Society. I've been able to recommend some friends and family to come and adopt some of our wonderful animals and I post a lot of them on Facebook now too. Layla, the middle dog, in my blog header came from CT Humane too.
You may remember *THIS* post showing you invitations I made for my friend's son Matt, who wanted to collect donations for the animals at CT Humane instead of receiving birthday gifts. Additionally, Dawn asked me to make 40 Thank You tags to be given out to the party attendees. She had purchased plush dog and cat beanie babies and wanted to attach the thank you tags to them.
So below is what I came up with:
The dog tag was easy! I used my Sizzix dog bone. A Hero Arts sentiment embossed in white and a PTI dog stamp embossed in black from the "Chair-ished" set
The cat tag took a little more time for me to think about because I don't have any cat stamps. But...I did have a Sizzix cat die cut and SHRINKY DINK paper!!! So...I die cut 20 cats and then shrunk them down and colored them in.
Here are all 40 tags with their ribbon and the CT Humane business card information.
Dawn graciously took some pictures of the tags on the plush animals:
And here is the birthday boy himself, Matt, showing off the bags and boxes of toys, treats and bedding his guests brought him to fulfill his birthday wish!
Here's a shot of Matt and I with his siblings, John and Catherine:
A picture of the kids with our shelter manager Allyson, behaviorist Jay and shelter employee Karen (with the ferret)
Don't you love Catherine's "thumbs up"???
Finally - Bristol - one of our dogs up for adoption playing with her new frisbee!
So, if you've made it this far..........you are now at the end. Congratulations :)
Thanks for your visit!

Maria, I love these tags. They are so perfect and look great on the stuffed animals. Matt seems like a wonderful kid. Not many would think to do something this generous. Thank you for sharing the pictures.
