Do you remember THIS card I made with my new Memory Box flower die cut? Well, I decided to get it out again and alter it up a bit! By trimming up different parts of the die cut - I was able to make two different flowers from the original die!
Pretty neat huh? I love it when I actually come up with something original for myself instead of seeing it done on another blog and coping it! I also used some of the 'garbage' pieces of the die for the little detail in the upper lefthand corner.
But back to the beginning of the card - I embossed a Memory Box background stamp in white and used my distress inks to color it in. I cut a piece of DCWV "Citrus" paper for the right-side panel.
I'm also going to enter this card in the Crazy 4 Challenges monochromatic coloring challenge this week (even though I technically didn't color anything!)
I think I'll go back and add a sentiment to the card, now that I see it on the blog - I know exactly where I want it!
Here's the Mojo 204 sketch if you want to play along this week!
Hope you have a wonderful day!!!
Thanks for your visit!

Love them both - so vibrant and cool. And you are very creative, Maria. I adore what you make. And how clever to reuse the waste and make them into such a pretty petal display.

Love your cards, the monochromatic and the flowers are awesome, I could seem them with DP behind them as well, not sure that works, but absolutely love what you have today. They are so delicate. have an awesome day.
Maria, BOTH of these are SO pretty! Love how you used the die two different ways - and really like that die too! Wonderful cards.

So fabulous, Maria! Love them both to pieces. Such amazing bursts of color and fantastic design. I really love what you've done with that flower die. The little negative bits in the corner is brilliant. :)
What great summer cards, perfect colors!

Great cards and those flowers are stunning! :)
Gorgeous cards! I love the monochromatic look. That flower is so pretty!
Look at you being all creative with your flower! I thought they were two new ones that I would have to put on my wishlist, but I'm glad it's just a new use for the one you already showed us!
Love the monochromatic look, too!
