Well, good thing I'm feeling better AND the weather has been rainy here in CT because that equals craft time!
I'm back with a birthday card following the Mojo Monday Sketch#242 and the Dynamic Duo's color challenge#3.
This card has a bunch of heat embossing on it, but also some dry embossing as the "Dynamic Duo's Dessert". Can you find the dry embossing on the card?
Well, it's the scallop punch panel. After punching the border out, I embossed it with my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, then covered the entire layer with Versamark and used clear embossing powder on the whole thing. I used a Penny Black image for my focus and a PTI sentiment. The chevron stamp is from Hero Arts, heat embossed with clear powder.
Here are the two challenges:
Have a great Thursday!!!!!!!
Thanks for your visit!

What a great image for the color challenge! I love the technique on your scalloped strip. So glad to see you at Dynamic Duos.
Eye popping, jaw dropping gorgeous!
This card just oozes 'class' with all the shiny embossing, stunning flower image and gorgeous ribbon. Thanks for playing along at Dynamic Duos.
Wow! This is beautiful! Love that image and those embossed chevron stripes! Thanks for joining us this week at Dynamic Duos! :)
This is so pretty and I love how you did the dry embossing, it just shines. Love the black with the background. Glad you are feeling better, I heard from ny son that it seems to be raining or cloudy most of the time :(
Glad you're feeling better!
BEAUTIFUL card! Love all the embossing and the black! Know it shines too.
