Good Morning to you!! I didn't have a Sunday post ready, but then I saw the ColourQ challenge #145 ends today at noon - so I had to write this up really quick!
I've actually got two cards to show - using same stamp and technique, but different layouts. Here's the first:
I used a Hero Arts fern stamp on both cards, heat embossed in white and then used Distress Inks to emboss resist. I added a PTI sentiment, some gathered ribbon, Swiss Dots embossing folder and bling!!
The second card:
Again, same stamp, another PTI sentiment embossed with clear powder and an Impression Obsession background stamp. This time I cut the image into thirds and then added a layer and put it back together for a different look.
Here's the ColourQ challenge:
OK! Have a great Sunday!!!! I'm off to do some bookkeeping!! Oh Joy!
Thanks for your visit!

Both are gorgeous! I love the backgrounds you created. The 2nd one is my fav - I love the mosiac effect and the hexagon/chicken wire background. Beautiful work my friend.
Gorgeous cards, Maria! Love that embossed fern image and love your resist backgrounds. Both designs are so eye catching. Really love the colors and the gathered ribbon and bling. Cutting the image into thirds is stunning, too!
Both are GREAT! Love that second one and the way you divided the image. So pretty!
Don't work too hard at that bookkeeping!

Gorgeous cards, Maria, I think I love the second one the best, I love the honeycomb background! Stamping resist is fabulous! Thanks for joining in the fun this week at the CQC and sharing your card.
These are gorgeous Maria, love how the shading goes from dark to light, really pretty. Love your other post with the food too, poor Barbie but better her than us!
What awesome beauties these are, Maria!! I love your amazing white embossed ferns and their sensational sponged backgrounds. The colors are divine!
These are both gorgeous, but I think I like the bold, earthy colors of the first best of all! Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches!
