Fall Wreath Two!

Thanks for all your great comments on the fall wreath I posted on Tuesday!  I'm back with another one that I was inspired to make from Rachel of Architecture of a Mom. I loved the look of the yarn wrapped wreath.

I found some awesome yarn at Michaels.  Perfect for fall.  Here's how it turned out:
After wrapping the wreath with the thread - I begun attaching some of the flowers.  I really wasn't loving it. So I took all the flowers off.  Yesterday I got down all my fall decorations and in there were these great glitter pumpkins and acorns.  So I put some burlap squares over the yarn, held it down with some pins, then added a few leaves and attached the pumpkins and  acorns.

Here's a close up:

And just because it took a lot of time........here's a close up of the yarn wrap!

I'm going to be working on my last one........stay tuned!!!

Thanks for your visit!

That wreath is really cute! I love the colors you choose for the yarn wrap and the glittered acorns and pumpkins really make it!

This is GORGEOUS! (Feel free to make one for my door.)

Sorry I am so behind in commenting. I can't believe how much time looking and applying for jobs takes. Many of the applications have ESSAY QUESTIONS and take forever to fill out. Ugh.... I hoped I was done with essay questions forever but I guess not.
