EDITED: HOLY COW!! I interrupt this blog post to say that I've been asked to be on the Eat Cake Graphics Design Team!! Wow! What an honor!!!!! I just placed an order....so hopefully I'll be showing Holly's awesome stamps soon!!! Thanks so much to Meg@Corgi Creations for her encouragement to apply!!! Back to my regularly scheduled post:
You can never have too many birthday cards on hand.........so, I figured I'd make one up for Lucy's Day 5 card sketch:
Does the sketch look familiar? It's the opposite of the Day 2 sketch! I found one piece of Memory Box patterned paper that I thought was so pretty, so I started with that inspiration. Then I grabbed some PTI polka dot paper for my base layer. I hand stitched some embroidery floss, instead of sewing and then stamped out two Studio G butterflies and popped them up. The card is finished with PTI sentiment and one pink pearl!
Here's the sketch!
Hope you have a great day!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for your visit!

Such an unusual card this... wow! Hand stitching - superb. Love the pink printed paper and what an interesting colour combo.
WooHoo!!!!! Way to go, Maria. I'm SO very excited for you and they're very lucky to have you!!! Doing a happy dance around here and can't wait to see all you create!
This is so pretty. Love how you used the pink with the green. And that hand stitching is fab! I actually made one last night using this sketch and distressed around it in a similar fashion, but am just not happy with it yet....still a work in progress!
Again, so happy for you about the DT!
