Hay There
Here's another Inky Antics image and sentiment I used today to create this card. I used the sketch from the CPS Card Sketches 118.
Image is colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. I used another set (forget the manufaturer) for the chicken prints on the right hand side. Sentiment is raised with pop dots. Thanks for looking!
Sunday Cards
It's Beautiful outside! What am I doing inside? Well, trying to clean up my craft room by putting two cards together from yesterday's coloring under the patio umbrella!
Here are two cards made with the same Provo Craft paper:

Birthday Wishes
Here's a card which began as soley a black and white card, but I wasn't quite feeling it - so, since it's going to my brother-in-law and he loves the color chartruese, I added that as the accent color.

This is a Hero Arts stamp, stamped in Colorbox black in and embossed in iridescent embossing powder. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things.

More rainy day cards
Well, here are three more of the rainy day cards I made for my brother-in-law yesterday. He asked for more masculine cards, so that's what I was trying to go for.
This is an Inkadinkado image and sentiment, colored with prisma pencils and cut with Nesties.

Thinking of You
For the Splitcoast Stampers Ways to Use it WT220 Beautiful Buttons challenge, I made this card. This one will also be sent to my brother-in-law. I'm not sure who makes the paper, I've had it for a while. Sentiment is from MFT.
Rainy Days = Cardmaking
Well, it was a drizzly, yucky day here in CT today. What that means is I (Maria) spent about 6 hrs in the craft room! My brother in law has asked for 10-12 miscellaneous cards, so that's what I've been working on today. I'll post a few today and a few more tomorrow.
This is a second take on the card I posted yesterday. I changed the sentiment - an Inky Antics one to read "Happy Birthday from the whole flock"
Here's another Inky Antics set:

Welcome to the 'hood & Father's Day
Hello, it's Maria here! Well, while I still had my Stemma "Citrus Blue" papers out, I decided to use up the rest of them on this "Welcome to the 'Hood" card for our new neighbors. We haven't met them yet, but want to drop it into their mailbox as their welcome. I don't feel comfortable knocking on the door!
I used my Impression Obsession stamp and colored in with prisma pencils and gamsol. Martha Stewart letters for the sentiment, since I didn't have a stamp that said what I wanted. I didn't like how much room I left between the "to" and "the", so I stuck in a Hero Arts birdie. Finished off with ribbon and bling.
Another Father's Day Card too - this one is for my Father-In-Law. I'm quite fortunate to have two WONDERFUL in-laws!! I did the same tri-shutter card with the same papers as my previous posted Father's Day Card, but changed some of the details.

Father's Day
Maria Here......This past Monday's Try a New Technique on Splitcoast Stampers was a Tri-Shutter card. I finally was able to make it tonight. I will give this to my dad for Father's Day. (I'm still working on my Father-In-Law's card.)
The paper & "dad" stickers are from Stemma paper pack - "Citrus Blue". I used MFT's sentiments and fish stamps, Inky Antics - bunny in the float and Lockhart Stamps - chair stamp. Stamped images are colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. I also used Sizzix swirls, brads and corner punch.
I will use the middle blue area for my own sentiments. Tell me what you think!

Sealed with a Kiss & Tulip Tilda
Maria again! Well, it has been so nice in CT, that I've been spending some of my days outside coloring in the Magnolia images. Then on the not-so-nice days, I've been putting the cards together. I finished two more today and here they are:
Both images are colored with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol. Paper's are from My Mind's Eye. "Sealed with a Kiss" is a Studio G stamp, finished off with ribbon and buttons.

This is a sketch from Taylored Expressions Challenge #68. Flowers are silk flowers that I had in arrangement a long time ago and couldn't throw them away. So I plucked all the flowers off the plastic stems and use them on cards.
I haven't decided on a sentiment for this card yet, so I'll hold off putting one on until I have a purpose for the card! Thanks for looking!
(Sorry - had to add label to post - so you might of gotten this twice)

Frog Cupcakes
Tilda on a Ribbon
Maria here - working on more Magnolia stamp coloring! I've become a little addicted to these girls! This card started as one thing and led to something completely different! I picked out a red picnic table patterned paper and colored her overalls to match...but when I started to put the card together, I didn't like how it looked at all! So, I took some heavy red cardstock and white linen cardstock and cut out the ovals with my nesties (still getting use to these).
I didn't like her sitting on the white oval, so I hand sponged the background. First with yellow, then with orange ink. I like how that came out, so I did it again for the lower portion of the card, then punched out flowers and sponged the larger in yellow and smaller in orange and placed them around. Two of them are raised w/ pop dots. Finally, I stamped the sentiment from a MFT collection and placed it on the card. What do you think?

More Magnolia's
Yesterday was a great day to color images outside under the umbrella - so that's what I was fortunate enough to do! Here are two more Magnolia images that I colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. I used Nestabilities for the inner and outer oval cuts. She's got glitter on her wings - but it's not showing up on the picture. Paper is My Mind's Eye - Magnolia too and I used Swiss Dots on the lower portion.
Here's my second image. Paper is from My Mind's Eye and sentiment is from MFT. I also used a little bling!

SCS 228 - Magnolia Card
I'm a week behind in the Splitcoast Stamper's Sketch Challenges - so this is last week's challenge card. I used a Magnolia stamp that was given to me through an image swap. She's colored with prisma pencils and gamsol. I used Cuttlebug Swiss Dots and (how funny) Magnolia paper. I just noticed that!
I purposely left the sentiment off because I'm not sure what I'll use this card for. Thanks for looking!
Happy Birthday Big Vi !
Today is my mother-in-law's birthday ("Big Vi" as she is affectionately called) and she wanted a grill - so we went out and got her one! Just as a coincidence...I picked up these new Studio G $1.00 stamps at Joanne's this weekend in MA - so I was psyched to ink them up so fast!
I used a Sizzix die cut for my "&" since first I hand wrote it and hated how it came out...so I had to cover it up !

Flower Pot Mother's Day Card
Here is Cindy's card she's giving to her sister in law for Mother's Day. Using the template from the Splitcoast Stampers Flower Pot Card, she cut her flowers and leaves from sizzix die cuts. She also hightlighted the flowers with brads.
This is the inside of the card (the slide out portion)

New Home - Branching Out
Here's a card I made tonight for family friends who have moved to a new home. I was looking through my stamps and came across MFT's "Branching Out" set and I thought of each season in a new home. I hadn't used this set yet, so I was pretty happy to finally ink it up. I used die ink and prisma pencils for coloring in and highlights. I also used "snow writer" for the winter season and sprinkled glitter on it while it was wet. I used white gel pen to highlight the pink flowers in the "spring" season.
Inside I hand wrote: "We hope every season is filled with wonderful times in your new home."
