Motivet - Birthday Wishes

Happy Monday to you! Hope you had a great weekend!!!  We sure did!!!  I'm actually looking forward to Ash Wednesday/Lent this week because my pants are getting tight from all the eating out we've been doing.  I'm considering giving up sweets for lent and hopefully that will jump start me to lose a few lbs!!

But, you don't want to read all about that on a Monday - right?  Here's a card I made for my niece Devon's birthday.  I haven't used this Motivet stamp in a while and thought it would be a nice way to personalize the card for her:

I stamped this little chipmunk on watercolor paper and used my distress inks again to color her up. I stamped an extra sign and skirt too - to pop them up and give some dimension to the card.   I also used the 'out of the box' technique to cut her out of the Nestability.  I used a combination of MFT and Lawn Fawn stamps for the sentiment.

The paper set I used had one sheet of paper with different letters on it - so I was lucky enough to have a "D" - which I added and blinged up a bit!

Just Because

Here's a cutie Motivet stamp that I colored in with prisma pencils and gamsol. I think these stamps are so adorable.  She better watch out that those bees don't sting her though!

I stamped the background with PTI's polka dots, used my Cuttlebug Swiss dots, Nestabilities and a MFT sentiment. I highlighted her shoes and polka dots on her dress with my black embossing pen. This pen just ROCKS! I love the effect it gives in real life - b/c I can never capture it with my pictures!!

Motivet - Happy Birthday

Happy Friday! Today's blog post is a card for "Nanny J's" Birthday! I used a Motivet stamp and colored the image in with prisma pencils and blended with gamsol.

On the roses, she used Decorart Paper Effects. Isn't this image cute?

Cleaning off my desk

I finally created cards from the pile of colored images on my desk. These are all images by Motivet - a Canadian company. Isn't she adorable? I bought the stamps at a Hartford Stamp Show. They are all stamped with StazOn on watercolor paper. I used my Marvy markers and aqua painter to color.

There are a variety of papers used but the sentiments are a combo of PTI and MFT. I used some bling and my glitter pen along with Nestibilities and punches. If you have a question on a particular card, let me know and I'll tell you exactly what I used.
