Yup....you're 40!

And we celebrated yet another birthday of a friend. This time it was for Jim who turned 40 last weekend, but we just got together yesterday to celebrate.  Jim is the friend who received the 'suitcase' I made.

I've had this image (uncolored) since I went to Toronto in May with Cindy and my mom and I figured this occasion would be PERFECT for him to get colored with prisma pencils and gamsol!
I can't remember the manufacturer of the paper or the tag, so all I can tell you is that the sentiment is computer generated!
Just a quick post, but I smile every time I look at this card. One of my favs!  Happy Belated Birthday Jim!

Happy Birthday!

Here's another one of the images I colored on Labor Day.....ahhh, sittin' under the umbrella on the patio! Nice!
Oh, back to reality.......this is a card I made for my cousin Chris for his birthday which was on Thursday. Chris loves to garden, so I thought this would make a nice card for him.
I grabbed some American Crafts paper for the backgrounds and colored in the Mo Manning image with prisma pencils and gamsol. I added some crystal effects to the tomatoes as well.  I was stumped for a sentiment so I went on SCS and asked for some opinions...I received a few, but went with "You say Tomato...we say Happy Birthday"  - kinda corny, but it gets the job done :)

Hope you are having a great Sunday!
